Gregory Truhan is a Criminal Justice professor at Lakeland Community College. Prior to joining their staff, he spent 22 years as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security. Chief James McBride is a retired 28-year veteran of the Lakeland Community College Police Department. They will be presenting a discussion on our nation’s safety in the wake of and before 9/11. Campus shootings, United States Secret Service research and threat assessment protocols are just some of the topics that will be covered.
